Vasa to Bernadotte, Culture in the Service of the Realm. The exhibition celebrates the Swedish Royal Court’s double jubilee year, marking the HM the King’s 50 years on the throne as well as 500 years since Gustav Vasa was crowned the first king of Sweden. The jubilee year was celebrated with the palace’s most comprehensive exhibition to date.

Objects included never before shown items spanning the last half-millennium, tracing the role and significance of the monarchy on Swedish culture and life today.
